About INTENSE Program

What is INTENSE Program?

In line with the National Development Council’s strategy to expand talent recruitment and the industry’s suggestion to attract and retain talents cultivated in our country, the “Promotion of International Students to Study in Taiwan and Stay in Taiwan Implementation Plan” has been launched since the 2024 . Among them, a new approach of promoting “INTENSE Program” is introduced to attract excellent students from the New Southbound countries to study in Taiwan and work in Taiwan after graduation. In line with population policy and domestic industry talent demand, the numbers of international students studying in Taiwan and working in Taiwan are increased. By integrating government, industry, and school resources, the recruitment of international students is expanded to introduce high-quality talents to Taiwan.

什麼是新型專班?

配合國家發展委員會擴大招募人才策略規劃，以及產業界建議擴大吸引及留用我國培育的僑外生，自113學年起推動「促進國際生來臺暨留臺實施計畫」，其中新增推動「新型專班」作法，以擴大吸引新南向國家優秀學生來臺就讀學位後留臺就業。配合人口政策與國內產業人才需求，增加來臺就學國際生人數與留臺工作人數。結合政府、產業及學校資源，擴大招收國際學生，為臺灣引入優質人才。
